Brandon Robshaw was born in London in 1961. He has lived in Oxford, Swansea and Paris, but has ended up living in Walthamstow, East London, about a mile from the house where he was born. He is married with two daughters and a son.
He lectures for the Open University in Humanities and Creative Writing and is also a free lance journalist with work published in The Guardian, the Times, The Independent, the New Statesman, Junior and Psychologies. He regularly reviews fiction for the Independent on Sunday. His interests include philosophy (in which he has an MA), cooking, and running. He is currently in training for the Bungay Marathon. He writes poetry as a hobby and has won a number of prizes.

Brandon has written Book 22 in the popular Beast Quest series, to be published under the name of Adam Blade by Orchard in 2009.
He is also the writer on Working Partners' Graffiti Inc project.
Current project: Daisy and Marcus and the Death of God, a philosophical novel for teenangers, co-written with Joe Chislett
