Brandon Robshaw was born in London in 1961. He has lived in Oxford, Swansea and Paris, but has ended up living in Walthamstow, East London, about a mile from the house where he was born. He is married with two daughters and a son.
He lectures for the Open University in Humanities and Creative Writing and is also a freelance journalist, with work published in the Guardian, The Times, the Independent, the Independent on Sunday, New Statesman, Junior and Psychologies. His interests include philosophy (has just completed an MA in philosophy), cooking, playing tennis badly, and pretending to train for the Great North Run.
Brandon is currently collaborating with Working Partners on a four-book series for Puffin, The Tang Shan Tigers. 'The first two books, The Stolen Jade and The Golden Key will be published under the pen-name of Dan Lee in January 2008'
