Caroline Deacon lives in the Highlands of Scotland with husband and family of two boys and a girl. She writes at a large desk with a view of the Great Glen; a massive fault that divides Scotland in two and houses Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal.
Since becoming a mother she has written hundreds of feature articles about parenting, and has written four popular childcare books, as well as contributing to or editing many others. She also teaches creative writing classes for the WEA. Apart from parenting issues, she also writes about health, psychology, education, leisure and travel.
