Following an Honours degree in Applied Physics from the University of Wales, Gareth escaped to set up his own production company in August 1994 at the world-famous Pinewood Studios, where he has been based ever since.
Later that year, he served as Co-Executive Producer on the acclaimed comedy from Director Edgar Wright, A Fistful of Fingers. In 1999, he turned his hand to writing for film journals and started work on his first book, The Pinewood Story. As well as collaborating on film and literary projects, Gareth also runs the Media Industry Networking Society, The Lunch Club (founded in 1994), bringing together the top movers and shakers from the film, TV and media businesses at monthly lunches and regular networking events.
Gareth works for Sir Roger Moore at Pinewood and runs Sir Roger’s production company there. He writes regularly for magazines including Total Film, Hotdog, British Cinematographer and Cinema Retro.
