Mary was born in the south of England, and so far has only ever lived by the sea. As a child there wasn't a day gone by that didn't see Mary's imagination take her into a colourful fictitious world of make-believe. As a young artist she would spend hours drawing and creating friendly animal characters. As an adult - not much has changed!

She has recently graduated from the Arts Institute Bournemouth and is now beginning to establish herself as a freelance illustrator. Mary would like to spend the rest of her life drawing wonderful things for children to fall in love with, she often finds inspiration in nostalgic memories, dreams and fantasies! She also likes cycling old bikes, yoga, drinking green tea and cats.
