Max Allen was educated at the King's School, Worcester and Royal Holloway College, University of London.
Max’s short film SHUT OUT, which he both wrote and directed, won an RTS student award. During university vacations, Max co-wrote two comic teenage novels – although he claims his most interesting 'paying-the-rent' job was working in security at Buckingham Palace. Max now concentrates on television scriptwriting. He writes fresh, dynamic comedy that is universally accessible and entertaining without dumbing down, and is currently writing more young Dracula episodes.
