Robert never wanted to do anything other than act. After a school and university career packed full of performances, he stepped into the real world, aiming to see his name in lights, and created Labyrinth Theatre. But then a friend gave him a book to read, claiming it would make an excellent play. He read it, decided to adapt the book and wrote the script in a month whilst selling theatre tickets via the phone for a leading West End company. He hasn’t looked back as a writer since.
His writing has taken him in many different directions, from stage to radio to screen to more recently co-writing the ITV Mobile soap The Gym, and he thoroughly enjoys every experience and looks forward to a great deal more. Rob is currently writing a screenplay entitled AFRICAN ICE for Bedlam Productions, producers of the Oscar and Bafta winning ‘The King’s Speech’
Robert lives with his wife and children who are, by his own admission, amazing.
