Robert never wanted to do anything other than act. After a school and university career packed full of performances, he stepped into the real world, aiming to see his name in lights, and created Labyrinth Theatre. But then a friend gave him a book to read, claiming it would make an excellent play. He read it, decided to adapt the book and wrote the script in a month whilst selling theatre tickets via the phone for a leading West End company. He hasn’t looked back as a writer since.
His writing has taken him in many different directions, from stage to radio to screen to more recently co-writing the ITV Mobile soap The Gym, and he thoroughly enjoys every experience and looks forward to a great deal more.
Robert lives with my wife and children who are, by his own admission, amazing.
