After a career in fashion, Sammie attended London’s Central St. Martin’s College where she studied screenwriting. Upon completing her course, Sammie sent two unfinished, unsolicited scripts to Working Title Films. They liked her work, met her and asked to be the first to read both scripts upon their completion. So Sammie knew she was on the right track.

Having also devised some thirty programme ideas through out her college course, ranging from gameshows to documentary, in July 2005 Sammie also set up her own production company ‘hullabaloo tv’ with the aim of co-producing formats with a major production company. One week later, after a successful meeting with production company TwoFour’s Managing Director, Sammie was delighted at the prospect of developing and co-producing with Twofour several of her programme ideas.

However, exactly one week after that, Sammie was given the opportunity to devise numerous cartoon characters and their narratives for a brand new concept. She enjoyed doing this so much that she is now working on several of her own TV formats to submit to CBBC and CBeebies.

Sammie lives in a quintessential Kentish cottage down by the sea, with her best friend and loyal canine confidant Baloo Bear
